check  Power quality testing and analyze in FORMOSA CHEMICALS & FIBRE CORPORATION(Longde, 2012)

LoToun Steel added more steel mills in Longde industrial area while the steel mills are based on arc-furnace steelmaking procedure and power from Lize DS, same as 161kv power supply in public plants. To ensure whether the instrument safety of steel mills was affected by the fault current and harmonics or not, TruePower was commissioned by FORMOSA CHEMICALS & FIBRE CORPORATION(Longde) to measure and record the waveform of current and voltage before and after LoToun Steel operated to analyze the power system usage of current generator. To conform to the power quality control standard of Taipower Company, the analyses by measure includes waveform of current and voltage, output frequency, voltage regulation factor Voltage flicker value, power factor and total harmonic current distortion rate.
